- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
- PKP PN provides decentralized, distributed preservation for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS).
- Ensures long-term digital storage and redundancy through a secure network of preservation nodes.
- Automatically archives all published articles, ensuring they remain accessible even in cases of journal website outages or discontinuation.
- Portico
- A leading third-party digital preservation service that safeguards academic content.
- Protects against data corruption, server failures, and institutional or publisher-related disruptions.
- Ensures that all Agrivolution articles remain accessible, citable, and retrievable indefinitely.
Self-Archiving & Institutional Repositories
- Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or disciplinary archives.
- Authors may self-archive preprints and postprints, provided they cite the original publication in Agrivolution and maintain the CC BY 4.0 license terms.
Metadata Indexing & Backup Policy
- The journal’s metadata is indexed and stored in multiple academic databases and search engines, ensuring global discoverability.
- Regular backups of the entire journal database and published content are maintained to prevent data loss.
